User Experience Specialist, User Interface Designer, Information Architect, or Technology Untanglers (that’s my favorite), whatever you want to call it, it’s been getting some ink these days. The most recent has been in US News for being one of the best careers. They did a pretty good overview of the profession.

Now all the unemployed bankers can look to destroy another industry.

I’m trying to think of new ways to make job posting be anymore annoying and cute. Recently, I’ve noticed HR has been posting really hardcore job titles with fairly menial tasks. Such as: Semantic CSS Samurai. I’m sure the company that posted the job, Iterative Media, is a great company with colorful walls and free soda but is it really necessary to give these job titles a warrior slant. Do they even know the code of the Samurai or is it a quasi coolness factor they discovered when they watched The Last Samuari? What does it have to do with Semantic CSS developers?

It’s like finding a job title Project Manager Dictator.

There’s been a lot of folks these days being quoted on different news sites talking about the economy and how it can be saved. I guess these turds/pundits are the same folks that show up on cable TV shows pretending to be experts about some subject. Since the elections are over, their new roles is President of Thinking Strategically, a none partisan think-tank in Washington DC. What a load of crap. What makes these folks anymore qualified than Joe the Economist? Because they print up some business cards and rented a P.O. Box?

Barak Obama Is Stalking Me

That would be a great title to an Emo song, but unfortunately it’s a fact. I signed up to volunteer for his campaign a few weeks ago. Little did I know they ran my name through some database and identifies all the places I have lived before. I now get emails from states I had resided in, reminding me to ask my friends and family to sign up and vote for him. I unsubscribed to his email list distribution list but I can’t get off of these state email list, they don’t have links to unsubscribe. Barak Obama is now spamming me.

I’m voting for him since the alternative isn’t very appealing, but president Obama, is this what we have to look forward to?

People need to make up their mind on what they want to call art. It’s hypocritical to call graffiti found on the Berlin Wall art, and selective wall cleaning to be graffiti (link to see reverse graffiti). Even though there are historical context with the graffiti on the Berlin Wall, couldn’t there be an argument made for historical context in any graffiti

Maybe there should be a global summit to reform international standard on what is art and what is considered graffiti.

Razorfish is finally shedding the scarlet letter A from the front of it’s corporate name. After all the mergers and bankruptcies, Razorfish and Sapient are the only reminisce of the new economy’s publicly traded technology enabler companies from the late 1990’s left standing.
