Description
If time is money, than useful information is time’s best friend. Millions are made and lost within seconds so it’s important to synthazize complex data into easily digestible information. Traders are expected to make split second decisions on weather to open or close a position.

Citigroup recruited Roundarch to help them synchronize and display their complex trading platform for high asset traders. We studied how desk traders monitor and observe data from multiple data streams. Data often ranging from very high level market overview to specific market condition. We modeled the platform to their behavior and needs. The system needed to be able to inform, execute, and document each trade. As the market moved, we wanted traders to understand how it affected their position. We developed a visual interface to give traders a snap-shot of their portfolio. Traders can engage the graphic to learn about specific assets or interact with their portfolio.

• Synchronized trader’s bond, stock, derivatives, and futures platform
• Developed a visually rich home-page/dashboard upon login, to give users a snapshot of their portfolio across multiple asset class.
• Created an interaction metaphor strategy at Citigroup’s global asset trading platform
